Cloud Mummies v.27
Sorry to get this up so late in the week! I got attacked last minute with work for a couple other projects I’ve taken on, that I hope will be ready to share soon! Much like how our heroes were being attacked by pterodactyls/pterosaurs last week!
5 Easter Eggs in this one, all very mysterious, much like Graham. Speaking of Graham… while little is known of his shrouded past, legend has it that he was born in the Canadian Summer, though it is hotly debated as to which month Read More

Cloud Mummies, Rise Again! (v.10)
Soooo, I’ve been working on finishing up my second book in the Lost Bread graphic novel series, but in doing so, have neglected my online posting! The shame of it all. I had hoped to finish the Cloud Mummies story line in its entirety before releasing it page by page online, then making the hard copy book available for purchase. Unfortunately, life’s been getting in the way of that plan. Anyway, I’ve made enough of a dent in the writing to where I feel confident I’ll be able to post weekly again, complete with all new Grimerica Easter eggs.
Since its been a while since my last update, some of you may not be familiar with the plot. Fortunately, its all archived here on this site for your enjoyment/derision.
Some of you may know me exclusively from Instagram, (@lucid_nap) where I post regular updates on my episode art and progress on the second book. If you’re in that camp, you may notice I look slightly different in my photos than I do here. I’m actually not a cartoon,(though I’m looking into ways to remedy this) but I do enjoy bringing my lucid dreams to life in that format.
Check out my website www.lostbreadcomic.com for more art, updates, and available copies of my installment in the Lost Bread series!

Cloud Mummies v.32
Sorry for the long lag between postings! I’ve had an unexpectedly eventful few months as of late, but I’m still determined to deliver your dose of comic goodness!
Let me fill you in on the goings on in my life (I brought visual aids, because you know, visual aides are kind of what I do.)
I’ll start with the bad news…
A close friend of my family was recently diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. She was expected to go a few weeks ago, but has been hanging on (there’s of course both positives and negatives to that.)
She’s been really important to me, and always supportive of my odd ideas about life. When I first announced that I was going to self publish my comics and start selling my artwork, on http://www.lostbreadcomic.com she sent me a card in the mail. Inside was the message “I’m excited to get in on the ground floor of your new business venture!” and a check for $1000. I wish I had been able to get the 2nd book out a little faster, but I made a sketch to celebrate her life, friendship, and support (she’s the one on the right, I’m the one on the left.)
Now the good news! My baby nephew was born on at September 18th at 2:22am. (If anyone knows the synchronistic significance of that let me know.) He’s a sizeable lad at 8lbs .27 ounces and 21 inches long (I still have him beat, with a birth weight of 8lbs 5 ounces, and height of 22 inches, I’m still the champ!) He’s also extra cute. It’s hard to capture just how cute he is in a sketch, but here’s my attempt!
Guess what else! I’d also like to announce that I will hopefully be airing a Pod Drama I wrote, called Creeping Wave radio on October 16th (I mean, if all goes well.) It’s been a lot of work, but I feel pretty confident in this 9 episode series, and will be bringing you more info as the drop sate approaches. Till then, take a peak at some of the title art for upcoming episodes!
Yep, that’s Adam, Cyrus and my radiantly beautiful self…also this
Yes, that is the dashing Jestin Sallas on the right, and we got all the top talent, but I don’t want to give too much away just yet!
And now back to our regularly schedule shenanigans. In the last episode of Lost Bread: Cloud Mummies, Meg Ryan saved me from falling to my doom, after an attacking pterosaur started disintegrating and fell from the sky, knocking me off the balloon I was riding.
7 Easter Eggs in this one, each hand rendered with Grimerican love.
-Happy Hunting,
Nap
P.S.- I love you.
