#195 – Grimerica Talks Float Tanks and Meditative Lights With Isaac & Dustin From Float Life

Isaac and Dustin – the owners of Float Life in Calgary join us for a chat about their business, floating, other meditative techniques, and psychedelics among many other topics. So common among our guest, Isaac talks about the synchronicity that lead them to their new business in Calgary. We also chat about cold and warm baths – thermal cycle and cold thermogenesis, lucid dreaming and why we should be floating and all the benefits of it.
Before the show we try meditating under the Pandora Star – deep trance meditative light device. It’s very interesting and it’s supposed to entrain brain waves to multiple states and it creates psychedelic, colorful, geometric imagery.
“Floating” is lying in a fully dark, quiet tank full of warm salt water. It’s so relaxing that you can let go of your body and most physical feeling. This brings your thoughts to the forefront and there are many ways to mindfully meditate or play in the tank.
In the intro we chat about Darren’s halloween with the kids and Graham’s relaxing experience at Thermea Spa in Winnipeg. Graham shares some listener feedback, some trip reports and synchronicities. Wikileaks is still fulfilling the UFO quote of the week.

Duncan Trussell, host of The Duncan Trussel Family Hour Podcast, comedian and verbal articulator of all things spiritual, artistic, psychedelic, and political even…. He frequently podcasts with Joe Rogan and Dr. Chris Ryan. Although Duncan is hilarious and has an uncanny verbalization he’s very authentic and pours his life out for all to hear on his podcast.
We start off with drinking and drugs, addiction and so forth, and the spiritual solutions available like mindfulness and Buddhism etc… and we chat about changing through challenges, transhumanism and maybe some not so whacky theories about our reality and our universe. And of course Bigfoot and VR come up as usual.

Grimerica Talks Demons and Exorcisms with Exorcist Sonia Brosz

Sonia Brosz, is a legally ordained Minister, has been a demonologist and exorcists for 38 years. She works with all churches as an on-call consultant regarding religious practices, magic, rituals, etc. She’s got a slightly different take on a lot of these so called “demonic” disturbances. We chat about hauntings and possessions and how some places seem to attract more activity to others. We get into all kinds of discussion around what is causing this and speculate other reasons. Practical tools of protection and healing are also discussed. Are true possessions on the rise or are more people just seeking help for all kinds of other crap? 
Check out her website – get rid of the ghosts – that she made to provide assistance for those having challenges with this anomalous phenomenon.
In the intro Intro it’s just Darren and Graham’s lazy ramblings and of course some great stories from our listeners. Sara Chetkin, author of “The Healing Curve, A catalyst to Consciousness” joins Darren and Graham tonight in Grimerica. Sara chats about her journey to heal her scoliosis. From the Maori healers of New Zealand to the Psychic surgeon in Brazil and many modalities in between. After the long journey some of the most important lesson’s Sara learned were about going within, willingness, humility and the incorruptible power of stillness.

Sara has a BA in anthropology, a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine. She’s a Ro-Hun therapist and an ordained minister with the Church of Wisdom, Delphi University.
